Aries Compatibility

Aries Sun SignAries Personalities will find their best companionship and the most genial friends with those born under Sagittarius, and next with those in their own sign.

Aries Faults

The dominant faults of persons born in this sign are selfishness, anger, and impetuosity. They can also be whimsical, capricious, and fickle.

They do not easily forgive their enemies, although they are rarely tempted to seek revenge for their wrongs. They will die fighting for a friend or a principle and they will not yield a point until obliged to.

These people do not like details. They are fond of planning, and are usually possessed of good taste and judgment.

The Aries Woman can be impatient of long seams, or the "finishing off" or "filling in" process. They see how a thing looks at the start, and expect somebody else to do the work. The tendency of these people is to stifle their inspirations through externality and selfishness. Often, they are entirely unconscious of a propensity to talk of themselves, which may earn for them the reputation of egotists.

The female can destroy her best talents through jealousy. The Aries Man, through anger and quick temper. They are noted for what would be called "lost opportunities."

Aries Dis-Eases

The dis-eases most likely to attack the people born under Aries are headache, affections of the eyes, stomach troubles, and paralysis.

These ailments can be minimized by those who realize that mind is the master and body the servant of mind.

Aries Mode of Growth

As Aries people are usually very sure that their conclusions and criticisms are unassailable, they should keep a strict count of the times when facts prove them to be wrong. They will find themselves frequently mistaken.

They should put a bridle on their tongues, and learn to join in a conversation in a temperate manner, and not to assume the whole responsibility of it. They should learn to avoid repetition, and to understand that a strong statement once made is always weakened by a second one. They should practice silence, and spend some time each day alone. Any process that will restrain the action of the tongue and the determination to govern everybody and everything will be of unending value.

Their natural impetuosity can often lead to blunders. These complications are entirely unnecessary if those born under this sign will be led by their own uninfluenced, unmeddled-with intuitions, they will see and do the right.

They should come to their conclusions when alone, and learn to place a proper value on the genius of their sign.

These people need no stimulants. They should eat plain, nourishing food with regularity.

They should not surrender themselves, body and soul, to their friends and their pursuits, but learn to listen, wait, and expect the higher revelations of life and truth, which are theirs to command.

Aries Children

Ideally, the children born under this sign should not be driven or teased. They are sometimes called "the children of the four horns," on account of their invincible determination to win. The Ram is fearless and busy; the Bull is fearless and dominant. These natives are very apt to think that they know it all, and constantly inflict their advice upon their families and friends.

If of The Cusp, their capabilities are so great, and the magnetic qualities so powerful, that resistance to their rule is a very difficult matter.

It is the nature of this especial domain to load friends and neighbors with benefits, things to eat and things to wear. What they like, everybody else should like. As they are fond of the best things, and, as a rule, have good taste, their beneficiaries are in luck.

The impulse of this sign is toward the highest heights, but if the natives decide to touch the bottom of sensuality and dissipation, they will do so. They are the most powerful of metaphysical healers and very fond of children. The impulse of sex is strong, and they can be victimized by unhappy marriages.

The Cusp of Pisces-Aries, March 22 to 28

Here we have the union of the feet — understanding, and the head — intellect. This means unusual brain power and the ability to carry projects, schemes, and details to successful conclusions. These people always have something new on hand. They are the advance guard of civilization.

Their remarkable kindliness and enthusiasm concerning people and events make them very fascinating and very helpful friends and companions. Their loyalty is something that can be depended upon. The magnetic qualities of this cusp give the natives great power as healers and comforters. Their tact is something to be emulated.

They do not shine as logicians, for in their eyes there is something far above logic; this is intuition, and it seldom fails them. There are splendid clairvoyants and clairaudients here.

The Aries woman, though fond of men's society, may not be attracted to marriage. These are the people who are kept out of scrapes by the experiences of others.

The Aries man is more eager to marry, but generally look well before they leap. Cleanliness, inside and out, is the genius of this cusp. Now and then a man may be very dissipated, but it is unusual to find a sensual or a brutish one. They warm the hearts and cool the passions, and may be called the comforters of the world.
